What comes to your mind when you hear Spain?

Won’t you remember the famous Football team Real Madrid & FC Barcelona??

Well, those two cities are the main cities of Spain with rich culture and historic art portrayed by Antoni Gaudi. They also hold Football stadiums and the ones who are interested in football can always drop in for a match here.

Spain has everything to offer to its travelers right from the vineyards, mountains, and villages of Sierra Nevada, alluring and partying islands, spectacular landscapes showcasing lavender and sunflower fields & blossoming flower seasons, sun-kissed beaches, cosmopolitan cities, sumptuous cuisine & wines, and exciting festivals.

Spain is an exotic location and impressive for an entire year. Spain serves as a dream location for bachelor and bachelorette parties. Anyone would love to explore the country whenever they visit due to its vibrant life and culture.

Transportation & Cuisines

AIR

Spain is well connected to most British, European, other international, and Indian Airports. Major Spanish cities have international airports and domestically flying (low-cost carriers) serves as a greater option for travelers as the airline costs are pretty cheaper.

ROAD

Self-drive is the most preferred way to explore Spain but the driver should be above 25 years of age. Spain’s coast makes driving worthy exploring countryside, whitewashed villages, and its enticing beauty. Drive shall begin from Valencia and traversing across the coastline ultimately reaching Marbella.

TRAIN

Spanish Rail is the best way to transport yourself across the country and it’s completely hassle-free. Spanish Trains are pretty fast with good frequency to travel across Spain at affordable pricing. If you wish to add just a few more Euros – flights work out as the best option since they save time and aren’t that expensive.

COACH

Coaches (buses) in Spain is an excellent way of transportation for traversing within Spain. They are affordable and reach major cities as well as small regions which travelers can explore as they have good timings and frequencies.

Spain is renowned for its cuisine and wine culture. Spanish gastronomy is world-famous and it’s a must to try.

“Paella” the famous rice dish which originated from Valencia is worth tasting even if you are a vegetarian. Another best dish that savors is “Patata Bravas & Tapas” which as the name suggests is made of Potatoes and served with spicy sauce. It is often served in Bars along with a mocktail, cocktail, or any alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks one prefers.

“Sangria” is usually the most preferred drink in the country. It is made of red wine, fruit juices & pieces with soda water. There is no surprise that there have been many variations to the drink as Spain is home to more vineyards by area than any other country.

Best Time To Visit

Spain can be visited all year round as it has different activities for each season to offer. However, the best time to visit Spain to avoid extensive heat and crowds would be the mild-Season time that is – “Spring Time” which is from April to May, and “Autumn Time” which is from September to November. During these seasons it becomes easier and fun to wander around the streets and exploring the monuments, landscapes with lesser crowds and it also saves well on pocket as compared to the peak time.

European summer holidays begin from June or July to August - so usually, that time is pretty crowded and it’s a peak time making it invariably expensive. However, if you wish to explore the renowned Tomatina Festival then August serves as the best time for traveling.

Spanish winters also have their charm with Christmas round the clock hosting lots of events but it's extremely cold to be out for really long hours.
