Cheonjeyeon Waterfall is often known as “The Pond of God” consisting of 3 spectacular cascade waterfalls. The first waterfall falls directly into the pond which is 21m deep and it falls further from here contributing to the 2nd & 3rd waterfall.

Swimming is forbidden at this waterfall. The 2nd cascade flows down a steep basalt rock into the next pond with more water than the previous one and the 3rd cascade full stream falls into the pond further reaching the sea.

The river is connected by a beautiful Seonimgyo Bridge meaning “Seven Nymphs Bridge” between the 2nd & 3rd waterfall and also connecting Cheonjeyeon waterfalls to Jungmun Tourist Complex. It is one of the largest and impressive waterfalls on Jeju Island.

It’s the largest outdoor Bonsai Garden in Asia featuring 7 gardens made with stone and native trees. Each garden is unique with its décor based on volcanic mountains and waters. This garden came into the spotlight because it was created by a single farmer from the wastelands.

It’s a place where you can relax and communicate with nature and can spend about 45mins to 1hr. The landscaping and plenty of Bonsai trees on display make it admirable and it also has an artificial waterfall, stone towers with Jeju volcanic stones, and a pond.
