Canakkale
Canakkale is an ancient city with incredibly amazing sites and vistas and home to Troy and Gallipoli. This historic region is known for World War I’s bloodiest battle (Gallipoli Campaign) between the Ottomans and the Allied forces. The defensive castles built by the Ottomans still strive and dominate along the coast. It’s an interesting place to visit for tourists due to its strategic importance in the past.

The pretty-looking clock tower is symbolic and a favourite meeting point in the city as it is located in the heart of Canakkale. This 5 storey clock tower has four clock faces on each side and as it's located between the pier and city it's filled with crowds making it a busy area.
Troy is one of the notable treasures of the world’s cultural heritage due to the archaeological excavations showcasing settlements, city walls, house relics, theatre, and temples. Troy was rebuilt 9 times and famed for its Trojan War. Since most of the monuments are kind of destroyed so visitors get to see more of the foundations of the monuments.

The wooden Trojan Horse is the noteworthy landmark of Canakkale’s waterfront which was used in the movie “Troy”. Trojan horse is the story from the Trojan war stating that the Greeks used to enter the independent city of Troy by concealing themselves in the wooden Trojan Horse.
